How Notifications Work
New Messages
When a visitor sends a message, you'll receive a Telegram notification:
[Project Name] 💬 New message from John Smith:
> Hi, I have a question about your product

The notification includes:
- Project name (helpful if you have multiple projects)
- Visitor name
- Message content
- Quick reply option
Replying to Visitors
To reply from Telegram:
- Tap the Reply button on the notification
- Type your message
- Send it
Your reply will be delivered to the visitor in real-time via the Heyo widget.

Image Messages
When visitors send images, you'll see them directly in Telegram:

Alert Notifications
When a visitor triggers an alert:
[Project Name] 🚨 Alert: Viewed Pricing Page
Triggered by John Smith from United States.

Settings
Disabling Notifications
Toggle off Enable notifications to pause Telegram notifications without disconnecting. You can re-enable anytime.
Disconnecting Telegram
- Go to Project Settings → Integrations → Telegram
- Click Disconnect
- Confirm the disconnection
This removes the Telegram connection from this project. You can reconnect anytime.
Multiple Projects
You can connect the same Telegram account to multiple Heyo projects. Each notification will include the project name so you know which project it's from:

[Project Beta] 🚨 Alert: New visitor...
Troubleshooting
Not receiving notifications
- Check that the integration shows as Connected in Heyo settings
- Verify Enable notifications is toggled on
- Make sure Telegram notifications are enabled on your device
- Check that you haven't muted the HeyoChatBot chat
Verification code expired
Codes expire after 10 minutes. Click Open Heyo Bot again to get a new code.
Can't find the bot
Search for @HeyoChatBot in Telegram. Make sure you're searching in the main Telegram search, not within a specific chat.
Replies not being sent
- Make sure you're using the Reply feature (not just sending a new message)
- Check your internet connection
- Verify the conversation is still open in Heyo
Bot not responding
The bot only sends notifications—it doesn't respond to general messages. If you need help, contact Heyo support directly.

- Verification codes are single-use and expire after 10 minutes
